Cancellation Policy
This Initial Consultation Agreement outlines the terms and conditions between Australian Portal Immigration (API) and you, the prospective client: 1. Purpose of the Consultation The initial consultation is designed to: (a) understand your personal circumstances and migration or citizenship goals; (b) answer your questions to the best of our knowledge; (c) explain your possible visa or citizenship options and outline the advantages and disadvantages of each; (d) discuss our professional fees and engagement terms should you wish to proceed; and (e) identify the appropriate next steps for your matter. 2. Service Agreement and Fees After the consultation, if both parties agree to continue, a Service Agreement will be issued outlining the full scope of services, professional fees, and terms of engagement. This Service Agreement will replace the Initial Consultation Agreement. Once the Service Agreement is signed, a tailored document checklist will be provided to assist you in preparing the required documents and information for your application. If no Service Agreement is signed, the Registered Migration Agent–Client relationship will end at the conclusion of the initial consultation. 3. Confidentiality All information and documents shared during the consultation are treated as strictly confidential, whether or not you decide to engage our services, except as required or authorised by law. 4. Reliance As the consultation time is limited and based on the information you provide, any preliminary advice given should not be regarded as final or comprehensive migration advice. 5. Limited Scope The initial consultation is a standalone service to help determine your eligibility and visa options. There is no obligation for either party to continue beyond this stage unless both agree in writing. 6. Consultation Duration The consultation time is limited to 60 minutes, excluding any preparation work undertaken by the agent. 7. Consultation Fee The consultation fee, as displayed on our website, is payable at the time of booking. This fee will be credited towards future professional fees if you engage Australian Portal Immigration (API) for ongoing representation. 8. Acknowledgment By confirming your appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined above. 9.
